Tip & How-To about Cell Phones

BlackBerry Error Code

When using the BlackBerry device simulator, you can sometimes meet this Application Error inside JVM Access Violation Reading 0x00000000 when you try to start the simulator. Here's how to solve your problem.

BlackBerry simulator ERROR:

  • Application Error
  • Error inside JVM:
  • Access violation reading from 0x00000000
Open the folder to install the simulator BlackBerry for example: C: \ Program Files \ Research In Motion \ BlackBerry Smartphone 4.6.1 simulators \ 4.6.1.199 (8900) if there is a file called clean.bat use it. Try to open the simulator, and if you get Error inside JVM: Access violation reading from 0x00000000 error again, close to the simulator, open the installation folder again and delete all. DMP files to be installed in the folder and start the mortgage again.

If this fails, try the following:

  • Uninstall the JDE SDK and the BlackBerry Simulator
  • Reboot your PC - do not bypass this step
  • Install JDE SDK and the BlackBerry Simulator
  • Start the Simulator

i have the same phone. its JVM error 102 and you'll also get uncaught exception java.lang errors more than likely. its caused by a coruption in the software. its nothing you did, the software just failed. you can call your provider and do an exchange but it takes forever!! if you have a computer you can run the application loader and it will 100% FIX the issues. it saves all your info, wipes the old software, and reloads all the brand new software. this is from tmobiles website t-mobile.com/forums

Most JVM errors on a BlackBerry, can be fixed by simply reloading and updating your device software. For instructions on how to reinstall or upgrade your BlackBerry software, please see: HOW TO: Install New Software and Update (Application Loader) - BlackBerry®

There are some JVM errors that can not be fixed in this method, if you do encounter one of the below JVM errors, please call customer care at 1-800-937-8997 or 611 from a T-Mobile phone for further troubleshooting.

it won't come on it just says Jvm 513 reset

    Hello,

    Thank you for using Fixya1

Based on www.blackberry.com the error message you are getting is due to typing incorrect password for a couple of times (10 or more). All of the data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone have been deleted.

The BlackBerry® Device Software must be reloaded on to the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, click HERE

Note: Due to the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) error, the BlackBerry smartphone will not show a Connected state in the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager. Proceed to reload the BlackBerry Device Software using the Application Loader.

    JVM ERROR 513 BLACKBERRY 8310

JVM 513 indicates all data and application on the device have been deleted. To restore, you need to reinstall the Blackberry handheld software and restore the data from the backup file if you have it on your computer. To reload the software, you will have to connect the device to the computer and run Blackberry desktop manager and then application loader. In case you do not have thse software on your computer, check with your service provider and they will have the software available for free download on their website.

    JVM Error 102

This is a Java Virtual Machine Error with your blackberry OS. you will need to download a BB OS from Blackberry.com and then runn Apploader from your Desktop manager software. This will wipe and replace the BB OS and fix the issue.

Sometimes a Hard reset can fix this issue though.
