Tip & How-To about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
This is for everyone who has a problem with Keurig coffee makers. If the system says its not ready, try pulling the empty jug out and pushing it back in (hard) till you hear a click. You might have to attempt this a couple of times. From now on just fill the jug with another cup or pitcher... don't take it out. The other problem that I know of is the water backing up into the tank and not going into your coffee mug and shuts off (or filling less than expected). For this problem you can get an air can spray (computer store) and spray into the piercer nozzle (make sure the system is cold, as to not scald yourself). Or you can use a paper clip to dislodge hardened water in the lines. From now on, do a scheduled run with just water without a kcup and you'll see particles dripping out of the hole. The water lines for Keurigs are way to small and can get clogged.
