Tip & How-To about Garden

Seasonal equipment storage.

Every winter when the grass stops growing and we walk away from our lawnmowers, weedeaters, edgers, blowers, ect. we tend to complain when they will not start when it's time to start using them again. A simple little tip that will help this problem is to treat your fuel through out the season. Your only other option would be to turn the fuel off and run the fuel out of the carburator until the engine dies. Then drain the fuel out of the tank. When it comes time to use your equipment again, it will start because it has fresh fuel.......and you won't be complaining. This would also be a good time to change your oil, grease your unit, clean/change your air filters, fuel filters, ect. sharpen or change your blades, replace worn belts, ect. When it comes time to use them again, you will be glad you did.
