Tip & How-To about Cell Phones

Getting your bluetooth stereo headphones to work with the MyTouch 4g

In order to get your headphones to work with the Mytouch- install Doubletwist (a free android multimedia player) first. After that, reboot the phone. Once that's done, pair the headphones with the media profile first. Try a song- see if it plays. If it does, enable the phone profile- you've successfully paired your bluetooth stereo headphones with the HTC MyTouch 4g.

(This was discovered after actually trying the normal way, then going to the T-Mobile store to see if it was a faulty phone- this is how we got it to work)

using ITunes with my DroidX

There are several apps available in the Android Market that enable iTunes synching with a droid phone. The easiest and free way is to download "DoubleTwist" Player on your DroidX,
and also install DoubleTwist on your PC/MAC. When you plug in your android phone via USB to your computer and launch doubletwist it will allow you to copy songs and playlists from iTunes to your phone.

T-Mobile's myTouch 3G by HTC

.connect_widget_number_cloud, .vcount .tb-container { margin-top: 2px !important; } .twitter-share-button { height: 62px !important } {lang: 'en-GB'}

The HTC myTouch 3G is highly customizable and you have been hard at work tweaking it to your liking, but now the fun is over and you want to return it to its factory settings again.

Here, we show you how to hard reset the HTC myTouch 3G with step by step instructions.

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC myTouch 3G as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.

  1. Turn the power off. If your HTC myTouch 3G is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Press and hold the Home button and the red End button for 30 seconds
  3. Release the buttons when a warning appears on the display
  4. Press and hold the Home button and the red End button again
  5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
  6. Use the trackball to select Wipe data/factory reset

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC myTouch 3G. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

This will restore you setting. You will lose anything not stored to google or your SD card. But your phone will work again.
