Tip & How-To about Health & Beauty

Choosing the right cosmetics

Make sure you're wearing the right cosmetics for your skin tone. The tragic flaw many people make when buying cosmetics is not matching them to their skin tone. This makes it almost impossible when trying to find the right foundation and concealer-but it also affects the lipstick and eye shadow you should be wearing.

I am a Givenchy fan. Recently I got myself a tube of Actimine Mango but found that its too dark for my skin tone. I am a NC15. Actually I am rather disappointed with the beauty advisor, she is the one who advised me to buy the Mango shade. How else can I use it?

First, you can send it back for a new color. If that doesn't work you can take a lighter color and mix it to match your color. If those options fail, keep it just in case your skin becomes darker over the Summer months. I always go up a shade or two during June-August. You should search how to preserve foundation for longer periods of time.
