Tip & How-To about Clothing Accessories

How to Tell If Oakley Sunglasses Are Fakes. ?1Look for the distinctive "O" on the arms of the glasses. Genuine Oakleys always have this. Make sure the glasses have metal, not plastic, frames. Consider the price. If it's too good to be true, it's probably not a real pair of Oakley sunglasses. Oakleys typically start at around $100 and go up from there. Look for your glasses in an Oakley catalog or on the official Oakley website. Compare the glasses in question to the picture of the official model and read the description carefully. If you can't find a matching model at all, steer clear. Make sure your glasses come in a box with a microfiber cleaning bag and warranty card. The box itself should have a barcode on it and a description of the sunglasses.

my oakley sunglass lenses are peeling on the outside

I would be interest as to where you bought your oakleys,or if you bought after market lens. If you bought the oakleys new from a oakley store TAKE THEM BACK FOR WARRANTY. If they were purchased off a site or second hand they may be knockoffs. The oakley lenses are one piece and shouldn't peel at all and if they are will be covered by warranty. If the lens were purchased after market and aren't real oakley prodocts they may have a plastic film that needs to be peeled off. This is something i've seen on knock off oakley orkrs

How can you tell the difference between real Oakley sunglasses and fake Oakley sunglasses?

On any pair of fakes, the "Oakley" name on the lenses will be screen printed in white, and sometimes not centered correctly. Real ones have it etched on them.
