Tip & How-To about Televison & Video

Using Ebay and Paypal

There are serious risks for Ebay sellers, especially in jewelry, coins and youth games and electronics, so be methodical and meticulous.
Procedures: WWW.Ebay.com New Member Registration comes first. You will get confirmation and invoices in your email, so make sure your address form entries are correct and fully functional. Also record your user names and passwords correctly, choosing may be difficult as there are over 120 million users now. Bank or credit card info is necessary. Paypal registration is a separate registration, activation may take 3 days and for first transfer from bank to post.
Buying: Be careful if you submit a bid, you should be ready to pay. 3 non-pays and you can be banned.
Selling: Read and write carefully, Be diplomatic, accurate and understanding, as buyer feedback can damage your ability to sell and earn fee discounts.Take your time, notice and try to understand every click box, including auction duration and shipping options, decimal places, quantities etc.. Take your time to learn the listing page thoroughly, as mistakes and oversights can cause real financial pain.Study WWW.USPS.com and the other shippers rate calculator websites for costs.
Always pay extra for USPS tracking if you sell something, it is how the Ebay system proves seller policy compliance.
Ebay has the most refined search system with category, area, price range or item name searches. Use quotes around item names for exact search results, such as "Fender Bandmaster". Do your homework and communicate promptly.
Make sure email messages are authentic. Clicking on email links can be dangerous.
Phishing scams: Paypal and Ebay never ask for your user information, they already know it. You never have to "update info".

I am having a better suggestion. You can prefer FIFA 18 coin generator to get the desired amount of coins.
This platform would provide you a safe and easy way to get these FIFA 18 coins by just unlocking the coin generator available there.
The most interesting thing about this online platform is that they are the trusted provider of these FIFA 18 coins for years and for free of cost.

I bid on a bank rolled roll of 50 wraped pennies,$210.00 . At the end of the penny roll one could see a valuable coin, If it was problem free the coin could be worth $175.00. I paid the $210.00 because the coin on the other end of the roll could be worth up to $3000.00. However, you would not know if it was a valuable coin until you opened up the penny roll. When I paid $210.00 for the roll I was taking a chance that the only valuable coin was the one that you could see on the end of the roll. When I opened up the roll to see if I lucked out and found another valuable coin, which I did not. That meant that I paid $210.00 for a coin that I could have bought for $175.00. I lost $35.00 on the deal. That I do not have a problem with as one takes a chance, this time I lost. I am getting to the problem, i just wanted you to know why I paid $210.00 for a coin that I could have bought for $175.00. When I opened the roll of pennies I found that the 1909s penny had a bad scratch on it.. The scratch mark was caused by some one removing the coin from card board holder without removing the staples. Many valuable coins are damaged by the staple that holds the coin, which is called a 2" by 2" holder. If one tries to take the coin out of th holder without first removing the staples are taking a chance on damaging the coin. When I opened the roll of pennies I found that the coin, 1909s had a bad scratch on it. Without the scratch that coin is worth $175.00, with the scratch the coin is almost worthless because no will by a damaged coin. The scrach was not noticable until the coins were taken out of the roll. I contacted the seller and ask that I return the damaged 1909s coin graded a F+ for one that was not damaged. He refused, I then mentioned that I would return to him the entire roll of coins that I kept seperate in a container so that I could keep them togather in case I had a problem with the purchase, which I did. The seller informed me that he did not want theb roll of pennies back because I could have taken out any good coins and replaced them with ones less valuable. I assured him that I would not do that. The seller then offered me $100.00 credit on my paypal account. I refused that offer because I paid $210.00 for the rollof pennies. If I took the credit $100.00 credit that means that I am paying $110.00 for a damaged coin that I could not resell, no one wants to buy a damaged coin. The sell then offered me a credit of $110.00 which I refused. I informed the seller I want him to replace the damaged coin or I will return the roll of pennies for full credit of $210.00. I will provide you with the information that you will need; Seller; Traderdscollectioncorner. Item# 250809932826. Shipped from Darryl E. Hess. My email addess is;wayne_ingram@comcast.net.phone, 815-978-0739. Thank you,.I want you to know that I know the lord and that I have been truthful in this matter.

The only way to resolve this problem is if you paid with paypal file a claim with them. Or you can file a claim with ebay and explain the problem with them. We can not help will items that were bought on ebay. We can only help you if you did buy an item that was on ebay that was damaged and could be repaired. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Here is the link for paypal claim below.

Logitech Wireless Controller flashing a red light

Hello There.

That's unfortunate but in the world of electronics from ebay it's not unusual. My suggestion would be to contact the seller and get them to replace the item or refund you.
If the seller is not helpful and you paid via paypal, then you have upto 60 days to make a claim as 'item not as dscribed' to get your money back or a replacement.

If my answer has solved your problem, please rate me on fixya.

Thank you

ebay Payment Method

There are a number of ways to pay on eBay. Most sellers offer more than one option. Some payment options offer more protection than others, so be sure to select a method of payment that makes you feel comfortable.

If you have additional questions about payment options, you can contact the seller directly. You can find the seller's email address by clicking on the User ID in the listing or by looking in the End of Listing email that you received when the listing closed.

Sellers may not ask or require you to pay by instant cash wire transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram. They may not ask you to pay by cash. These payment methods are not permitted on eBay. Please refer to the Accepted Payments policy for details on permitted and non-permitted payment methods. Payment services that are not permitted on eBay may, in fact, be outstanding services for consumers in other contexts. eBay’s evaluation relates only to whether a particular service is appropriate for the eBay Marketplace. If a seller asks you to pay with a payment method that is not permitted on eBay, report the seller.

Clicking the Pay Now button is the fastest way to pay on eBay. Common payment methods available using the Pay Now button include:
  • PayPal
  • Credit Card
  • Personal checks, cashier's checks, or money orders
The seller may accept other types of payment methods involving escrow companies (recommended for high-price items) and bank-to-bank wire transfers. More information on each method of payment is provided below:
