Fix JVC safeguard mode error message camcorder models...

I held the start/stop button in (the one on the top right part of tape opener plastic piece), opened the tape holder and slid the
button to "rec" all at the same time. This allowed it to open up and for me to recover my tape.

Hi i have a esam5500 coffee and cuppuccino maker. How to remove the front cover of the machine because the cappuccino BUTTON is not in place (loose) or if is possible to fix it

I had the same problem but with the power button on the front panel.

It's a major operation involving opening the machine.

Disconnct completely from mains power.

On the rear there are 2 screws middle top and middle bottom When they are removed the back can be slid upwards and removed. Then there are four screws on the back holding the side panels.. When removed the sidepanels can be slid backwards and of.

Pry of the little plastic button on top of the grinder adjuster in the bean container. Underneath is a screw that needs to be removed.

The top is held by 2 screws on the forward part along the top. When removed the top plate can be pried upwards.

The front is the held by 2 extra screws half way down along the front. When you removed these the front along with the panel can be taken of.

The panel is connected with the electronics with a flat cabel that runs along the left side. Pry the cabel lock open at the electronics board and fre the cable.

Now you have the front panel free and can work with it.

On the cabk there are 4 bigger screws. remove these and notice how the back plastic cover and the front are layered.

With the 4 screws removed you can lift the panel with the buttons out forn the front panel and se how the buttons a mountet.

My power button was broken of the little tabs that held it and had fallen down behind the panel. I reattached the button with som gaffer tape loosely on the back so it stayed in place but had movement enough to be usable.

Clean out the interrior while you are in there.

Assembly is the reverse and everything is back in order.

There is a youtube video with a complete dismantle process:

How to record a cassete tape

Typically, to record on a cassette tape you must press BOTH "Record and Play" buttons at the same time and the tape recorder will begin to record.

Sony TC-WR690 doors will not open to remove the cassette.

If you remove the cover after unplugging the AC, you will see that when you push the eject button that on the back side the putton is held back by a white plastic piece. Push down the white plastic piece as you press the eject button. The door will open and the tape will release. I jsut did this today on my Sony TC WR 670 dual tape player. Both sides were blocked. I noticed that both fuses on the board were also blown. New fuses didn't solve the problem. May be that the transformer is out?

open the case

The top plate is held on with four pieces of double-back foam tape applied to four press fit plastic discs and one piece of double-back tape along the top surface immediately behind the display. The discs are located 1/2" in from the sides and 1-1/4" and 4-5/8" from the rear (as measured from the "nose" (rounded edge)) of the case.

To open the case you'll have to carefully pry the top up enough at one side to get a razor blade under to start cutting the tape at each plastic disc. Once the foam is cut through each disc, the top on that side will be loose. Do the same to the other side so that both sides are loose. Now that the sides are free, carefully and slowly lift the top at the display-side rear so that it hinges at the tape behind the display. This will break the tape's bond and the top will come off.

The top is rather stiff and so if you're not careful you could bend it. The plastic discs have ringed shafts that press fit into holes and may even start pulling out of their holes if you're lucky, but that seems remote from what I experienced.

Again, use care in prying and make sure that you cut through the foam. Then, if you're lucky enough to solve the problem that lead you to open the thing, then you can use double-back tape to hold the top in place or if you're mechanically inclined, you can drill top and tap the plastic discs for screws so that you can open it easily whenever the mood strikes you.

cassette holder won't open

this happens because on the right side of mechanism is a push on switch and a metal plate pushes when cover goes out.If this is not working properly then no command exists to open the cas.elevator.Use a contact spray in this right side i mean the side of lens.If problem continues send it back to the shop...
