How to Diagnose Trouble Lights on Hoveround Power Wheel Chairs

when I switch on .all the lights sweep from green to red and chair wont function


Is the chair connected to the charger? If so, disconnect it then power the chair off then on again.

no power


1- Make sure that your batteries are fully charged and that they have not gone bad from sitting unused for a long time.
2- If the batteries are less than 2 years old and have been on the charger for at least 8 hours but the power chair will not power on when the charger is disconnected, you may be have blown a fuse. They are standard automotive fuses and are located inside the battery covers under the seat.
3- If you have checked on both 1 and 2 and still have issues or have blinking lights on the controller,

lights on hand control flash off and on and chair will not operat


There is a series of diagnostic flash codes associated with the controller. The diagnosis depends on which color and how many lights are flashing. If you post the combination, I can help you. Or you can download the Basic Operation Instructions of the Pilot Controller from the Pride website. The codes are listed on page two on the troubleshooting instructions.
