Converting file types

Actually I tried to add the files again to the recorder s folder but it shows empty when I try to play them with the recorder....Im sorry but Im a little desesperated. I hope you can help me. Thank you very much.

If you still have the files saved on your computer, then you have several options.

You can convert them to something more compatible like MP3 online for free at the following site:

http://www.mediaconverter.org/

Just upload your file to the site and choose the applicable formats for conversion and then a short time later you can download them back to your machine in whatever format you chose.

Or, you can just download VLC MEDIA PLAYER for free from WWW.CNET.COM and install it on your computer. It should have no problem playing that type of file. You can read about the program, check out other user's reviews and download it free if you want at the following direct link to the CNET free download page:

http://download.cnet.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10267151.html?tag=main;productListing

Just click on the big DOWNLOAD NOW (19.42 MB) button on the left hand side of the page when you get there, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

Good luck, hope this helps.

Some videofiles are playing with violet and green colours! What can I do to fix it? I use Media Player Classic and latest version of k-lite codec pack. Thanks!

I would recommend downloading and installing VLC Media Player.

From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VLC_media_player>
"VLC is a portable multimedia player, encoder, and streamer supporting many audio and video codecs and file formats as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols."

It's an excellent player, and can play almost any video file you have.

To download go to http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and follow the instructions there.
