while searching the internet, the webpage is randomly unable to find the DNS server what is the problem?

Domain Name System (DNS) is a vital part of the Internet's workings. Each website address connects to a domain name; for example, Microsoft.com and Yahoo.com are both domain names. IP addresses are actually what we are

connecting to on the Internet. DNS was created in order to make webpages easier to access, with each server IP address assigned a domain name. A DNS error occurs when one cannot access the IP address that corresponds with the domain name entered in an Internet browser.

Clear your Internet browser's browsing history and cookies. In InternetExplorer, start by clicking on "Tools" (in the menu at the top-left of the browser) and navigate to "Internet Options". This will open the "Internet Options" window.

Click on the "General" tab. Look for "Browsing History; click on the "Delete"button. This will open up a new window. Click "Delete Files", "Delete Cookies", and "Delete history".

Clear your DNS cache. Start by entering the "Start" menu and clicking on"Run". In the "Run" menu, type in "cmd" (without the quotation marks), and click "OK". This will open the "Command Prompt" window.

Switch to the "Command Prompt" window and type in "ipconfig /flushdns" (minus

the quotation marks), and then press Enter on your keyboard. Wait for theprocess to complete, and then close the "Command Prompt" window.

Create an exception in your Windows firewall. Start by opening the "ControlPanels" window via the "Start" menu. When it is open, navigate to "Windows Security Center".

Click on "Windows Firewall". If you receive a message that the firewall is notcurrently in use, skip the rest of this article. Otherwise, a window dealingwith the firewall will open.

Click on the "Exceptions" tab, then click on "Add Program". This will open up a browser window. In this window will be listed many programs. Find Internet

Explorer (sometimes listed as "iexplore"); select it and click "OK". Then click "OK" again to exit out of the firewall settings window.

Contact your ISP if the above steps do not resolve the problem.

To work around this problem, you must create a Windows Firewall exception for TCP port 21. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type firewall.cpl, and then click OK.
  2. In the Windows Firewall dialog box, click the Exceptions tab, and then click Add Port.
  3. In the Add a Port dialog box, type Scanner and Camera Wizard in the Name: text box.
  4. In the Port number: text box, type 21.
  5. Click TCP, and then click OK.
Restart the computer and now you should be able to scan.

Adding a program exception

* When you add a program to the exception list, you enable the firewall to open ranges of ports that could change every time the program is run. To add a program exception, follow these steps:
* Use an administrator account to log on.
* Click Start, click Run, type wscui.cpl, and then click OK.
* In Windows Security Center, click Windows Firewall.
* On the Exceptions tab, click Add Program.
* In the list of programs, click the name of the program that you want to add, and then click OK. If the name of your program is not in the list of programs, click Browse to locate the program, and then click OK. Note If you do not know where the program is located, contact the program vendor to determine the program location.

For information about your hardware manufacturer, visit the following Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/vendors/en-us (http://support.microsoft.com/gp/vendors/en-us)
* Click OK.
* Test the program to verify that the firewall settings are correct.

My F5D7230-4 Belkin Router Virtual Servers power forwarding broke

Hi there!

Have you checked the Windows Firewall settings? If it is On, try turning it off and attempt the connection with RealVNC. If the problem persists, try adding an Exception to the Windows Firewall, just as an added troubleshooting measure.

Click Start, navigate to Control Panel, double-click Windows Firewall, and open the Exceptions tab. Look for a RealVNC entry. If you don't see one, click the "Add Port" button, type RealVNC as the entry name, and 5900 as the port number. Select the TCP radio button, click OK and then OK once more. Attempt the RealVNC connection again.

I hope this helps! Feel free to reply with results or further questions.
