Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

How to Increasing Graphics Performance

By default, WindowsXP turns on a lot of shadows, fades, slides etc to menu items.
Most simply slow down their display.
To turn these off selectively:

  1. Right click on the My Computer icon
  2. Select Properties
  3. Click on the Advanced tab
  4. Under Performance, click on the Settings button
  5. To turn them all of, select Adjust for best performance
  6. My preference is to leave them all off except for Show shadows under mouse pointer and Show window contents while dragging

Turn the camera on. Slide the REC/PLAYBACK selector to record (the camera icon). Turn the mode dial to the camera icon. Press MENU/SET to display the menu. Press cursor-left, then cursor-down to select Setup (the wrench icon) and then press cursor-right. Select the nineteenth item on this menu (should be the second-from-last).

This is due to you having a projection tv, some projection tvs are really bad for game playing and especially if you have a hdtv. even in the p23 manual it says that you shouldnt use with a projection tv cause it can damage your tv's screen permanently. I personally still play mine but, thats likly the problem.
