Hello Manivannan Hi!, there is a problem with your Hard Drive, there is no Operating System (windows), OR there is no BOOT device. check for loose connection both the IDE/SATA cable and power supply molex connector, you need the HD be detected by the PC. Pop in the Windows CD on your CD drive, reboot your PC, press F11 to go to boot options, and select CD. let me know your progress.

showing red image

Make sure red is matched up to red, green to green, and blue to blue first. Then, try a different set of YPbPr (component) cables if you have a set available. If it still shows up red, then read this:
If you are using a Progressive Scan TV
(TV must indicate Progressive Scan or
ProScan capability), to activate TV
Progressive Scan, please refer to your TV
user manual. For DVD system Progressive
Scan function, see page 28.
Helpful Hint:
– If your TV does not support Progressive
Scan, you will not be ab le to view the picture.
Press and hold OPEN/CLOSE button and
press ‘1’ to deactivate progressive scan.

Progressive Scan - turning on/off
To select this item, you must set “Video
Output” to Y PR PB and ensure that your
TV has progressive scan (See page 11.)
Follow the steps of “Using the Setup
Menu” and select :
> PROGRESSIVE
OFF
ON
PROGRESSIVE SCAN OFF
TV SHAPE
TV SYSTEM
VIDEO OUT
PROGRESSIVE
SCR SAVER
SMART POWER
OFF
Select this to disable Progressive scan
function.
ON

These are pp. 11 and 28 of your owner's manual for the HTS

If these methods still fail, try turning your TV's progressive scan off or on.
