Helpful Information when posting problems ith power chairs, scooters or lift chairs

If you are having problems with a power chair, mobility scooter or lift chair Give as much information as you can. Did Medicare pay for the mobility product? How old is the product? How old are the batteries? When you are getting flashing lights on the battery level indicator or light on scooter console. Count the number of flashes ie: 4 flashes pause 4 flashes pause etc. If the lights are scrolling are they moving right to left or left to right? As much info as you can give will help in telling what problem you are having and easier to help if possible.

In problems with lift chairs does to chair go up but not down? Will the chair move up or down at all? Do you have a red light visible on your transformer that is plugged into the wall socket?

I have a quickie electric wheelchair. The right axle was locked up. I turned the power on and now all I get is a flashing light. The batteries are new and fully charged. What could the issue be? The home medical supply company says medicare will not pay for repairs.

The right motor will need to be replaced. What reason did they give why Meduicare wouldn't pay for repair If the Aspire is your only chair then Medicare will pay. If you have received a new chair since the Aspire then Medicare will only pay for repair to the newer chair. You can contact a repair service other than the home Medical to get the chair fixed. You can contact Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 for repair Hope this helps you

put new batteries on and it wont move just flashes lights 4 times and then does nothing

Jesse the 4 flashes indicate a right motor problem. If Medicare bought your chair then they will pay for most of the repair cost. You can contact Repair Express @ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 if Medicare paid for your chair. They will pick up your chair give you a loaner and return your chair repaired. If not then you will have to pay for the motor yourself and you can contact them to do a self pay repair. Hope this helps

joystick does not work properly

msmaryanne that's not alot to go on but if the joystick is not working correctly then probably you will need to replace it. What you don't tell me is what the joystick is doing. Also, if you bought the chair or did Medicare pay for it. If it was purchased by Medicare then they will pay for most of the repair cost. You can contact the provider that brought you your chair or you can call a repair service to get it repaired. You can call Repair Xpress@ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 to get a tech out there to fix your chair. Hope this helps you

when turning on joystick control the chair moves but when i stop the lights start to blink and stops moving horn works if i play with the on/off it start to works agian

fantasy when it stops count the number of flashes. For example it might flash 5 times pause flash 5 times pause etc. This is the flash code and your manual will give you what it means. Being an intermittent problem can be a bear to trouble shoot. It would be nice to know what chair you have and whether Medicare purchased the chair for you. If Medicare purchased the chair then they will pay for most of the repair cost Hope this helps you
