How to take Care of Your Laptop Battery

What really makes the Laptop or Notebook really portable is its Battery. Remove the Battery then you are indirectly removing the Laptops portability. As human beings we need energy to survive which is form of the food we eat. Similarly a Laptop needs energy to survive. The energy a Laptop needs to survive comes from the Battery which is made up of chemical juice (Lithium Ions). This chemical juice operates optimally at particular conditions. Hence we need to take care of it. Now if you take away the battery of a Laptop, you are taking away the life of the Laptop. We can then understand that it is the battery of the Laptop that keeps it alive.
Since Battery = Life of Laptop it simply means that No battery = Death of Laptop. Because batteries are so important in the existence of a Laptop we definitely have to take care of our Laptop battery.
I observed that many Laptop owners do not really care for their Laptop batteries. You might wonder why? It is simply Lack of information. So i am going to be giving you several tips on how to take care of your Laptop battery. I am going to cover two tips in this Part of the article and continue in subsequent parts. So watch out for Part 2.
Lithium ion battery is the technology used in modern Laptops. Squeezing every drop of its juice (chemical) weakens and strains the battery. Hence cumulative drain of the battery will shorten the life of the battery and eventually kill the battery.
High temperature breaks down the battery and reduces its overall life expectancy. Always make sure the vents are unblocked and also never work with a Laptop on the cushion because if you do so you will be blocking the vents in the Laptop. If you are wondering how to check the temperature of your battery you could get a software to do that.

ASUS Eee PC Seashell series notebook will power up for a second and then go out

Remove the main battery and try again, have the power supply charger checked to make sure it is working properly, if okay the DC jack in the laptop is a common source of trouble. The unit will need to be taken apart to assess the motherboard.

My Toshiba L30 101 wont power up!!

Solution is :-
Please flip the notebook upside down , remove the battery , remove the ac adapter , then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds , then put the battery back , ac adapter back . try to power on the notebook it will work (i believe there is some static stuck in the capacitors of the notebook , which is not allowing it to boot.)

If this will not work in that case :-
You need to reseat the hard drive , and the ram of the notebook .
In order to do so you can refer to this website .

If the issue still remains its a hardware issue , check the warranty and send it in for repair.

Dell Latitude D600 won't power on w/ or w/out power adapter

the problem is really mysterious. because in most of cases the battery is the villain. and when it is replaced the issue should be over. there are no other components of a laptop which is directly or indirectly related with battery perfomance.
any way get back me with more details like the age of system and number of times taken to service center etc etc @ deepuunni1985@gmail.com
