Everytime I try to type @ (shift - 2), " comes out instead of @. The same problem for typing ~ (shift - 1) and # (shift 3), but other comes out. Any solution?

Go to Start - Run and type MSCONFIG then press Enter and choose either Services or Startup to try to identify which application may be loading m3plugin.dll and uncheck it

when i am typing @ cant instead @ the letter is " please help

The keyboard is set up wrongly or the laptop isn't one set up for your country.
If you get " when typing @ try typing SHIFT and 2 for the @ symbol.
You can change keyboard settings in Control Panel.

You are in "Linear" input / output mode. Press [SHIFT] [MODE] [1] to configure your calculator to use "Math" input / output mode instead.

I can't type @, # and ~ on my laptop

You may have your NumLock enabled. That will make you type whatever blue characters are on the keys instead. Press your NumLock (sometimes Num Lk) button and see if that helps.

If that's not the case then you probably have the wrong keyboard profile enabled in Control Panel. (Thinks you are using a foreign keyboard layout of some sort.) If the above solution doesn't wok, open up the Regional and Language Options from Control Panel, select the Languages tab, and press the Details button under the Text services and input languages section. Make sure everything in there applies to you.
