Tip & How-To about Office Equipment & Supplies

Overhead Projector TIp #2

Some people switch the projector on and off to shift the focus of the audience from the image back to the speaker. This also saves the lamp. This is a matter of personal presentation style.

It's probably you have a busted DMD chip, have your technician replace that, better yet buy a new projector because replacing that chip costs almost a brand new unit.

Cannot focus uniformly across the projected screen. This seems to be more than a focus problem in that some areas of the image seem blurry as opposed to out-of-focus. Also, in what may be a related issue, I cannot get the keystone correction to work to straighten image when being upwardly projected.

try bringing the screen up as close as possible to the projector and still get a focused picture. check keystone here and also for image clarity. if you still have problems, check for dust or moisture etc in the optics. check the lamp for a clean front surface. clean the air filter also. Try a different image source for differences

How do I zoom and focus the LV 7350? It is ceiling mounted. I want to make the image smaller so that people in the audience can see the image over the heads of those in front.

There are zzom and focus buttons on the remote if you have it. If not, use a safe ladder and use the zoom/focus buttons on the projector itself.

Good Luck
