Tip & How-To about Kitchen Appliances - Others

Kenmore 12934 Bread Maker

I saw someone ask for a replacement paddle. I believe I have found one, but can no longer find the person who requested the information.

Here is the link I found for a replacement paddle, scroll down the page a couple of times to see it listed.

Someone wants to buy some jewelry off me and has requested that ilogon to my paypal accountand send a money requestdirectly to their paypal account id. is this safe for me to do ?

PayPal is one of the safest ways to send and receive money online.
Requesting money from someone is a function which PayPal offers it's users to perform, but to receive the money you will need an account, if you don't already have one. This is because the money they send will be stored in your PayPal account.

If you are worried about whether it is safe to create a PayPal account, it is, because they do not ask for any credit card or bank details. You may connect your credit card to make online payments easier, but this is not required.

The only personal piece of information they need is your address, but this is because of certain laws which they must abide by. PayPal will never ship anything to your address or send any bills. This address is sometimes used when you purchase products online with PayPal and they need to be shipped to you. Or, if someone has hired you for freelance work, they may need to know your address for tax purposes.

For more information about PayPal money requests, see their page here: Request Money from Friends Family PayPal US

If you need help sending a money request, I have found a clear step by step guide here: How to Request Money via PayPal Sapling com

I hope I helped you out and that you successfully sell your jewelry!

How do I delete my flipagram account?

Deleting or Anonymizing Your Content: If you are under 18 years of age, you may request that the User Content that you posted to the App be deleted or anonymized such that your personal information will not be identifiable publicly on our App by completing the form found at: https://flipagram.typeform.com/to/fxTBFp or by sending an email to privacy@flipagram.com including your full name, email address, Flipagram username, and the text "I am under 18 years of age and request that you delete or anonymize my content." While we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize your User Content upon request, please be aware that due to the social nature of our App, you may not be able to completely remove all of your personally identifiable User Content if, for example, that content has been stored, republished, or reposted by another user or a third party. We may also maintain your information in identifiable form for our internal use, even if your personal data is no longer visible to the public on our App.

A gmail 75imary@gmail.com Keeps appearing on my apple post site asking for my password. This is not my account. What should I do?

I am assuming you are getting this when you are signed into Gmail.
I found these help items:Someone changed your password
If you suspect that someone else knows or has changed your password, please reset it so nobody else can sign in to your account. To do so, just enter your username on thepassword-assistance page.
Account username:
  • For Google Accounts without Gmail: the full email address you used to create your account.
  • For Google Accounts with Gmail: everything before '@gmail.com'
If you think someone has access to the email address associated with your Google Account, please change the password for your email as well. Learn more about keeping your account secure.
If you're unable to reset your Google Account password, and you can't sign in to your account, you can fill out the account recovery form.
About phishing
A phishing website or message tries to trick you into revealing personal information by appearing to be from a legitimate source, such as a bank, social network, or even Google. If you receive a suspicious message, do not provide the information requested. We've included some tips to help you recognize phishing and keep your account secure.
Think before you click
Pay close attention to sign-in screens.
Cyber criminals can use links in emails, tweets, posts and online advertisements to direct you to fake sign-in screens, where they can steal your password. Only sign in to your account when you are certain you visited the real site directly. Check the Internet address to be sure.
How can I recognize phishing?
You should always be wary of any message that asks for your personal information or messages that refer you to a web page asking for personal information. If you receive this type of message, especially from a source claiming to be Google or Gmail, please don't provide the information requested. Google will never send unsolicited messages asking for your password or personal information, or messages containing executable attachments.
Messages or websites phishing for information might ask you to enter:
  • Usernames and passwords
  • Social Security numbers
  • Bank account numbers
  • PINs (Personal Identification Numbers)
  • Full credit card numbers
  • Your mother's maiden name
  • Your birthday
What should I do when I see a phishing scam?
Most importantly, never reply to suspicious emails, tweets, or posts with your personal or financial information. Also, don't fill out forms or sign-in screens that link from these messages.
Most email providers, including Gmail, allow you to report suspicious emails and phishing scams. To report phishing in Gmail, click the drop-down arrow next to "Reply" and select "Report phishing."

The above is a service request for the s760, but be warned, I found no informatioin on service warranties for this product.

It may be out of warranty since I saw a post that asked if it could be used with windows vista. That's kind of an older operating system since Windows 7 is the current one.

But, you can try the link to see if it gets you anywhere.

It requires that you input information about your camera like the model number and your email address.

I wish you luck in obtaining repair information on this product.
