Hi.
F7 on GE ovens means that there is a poor contact to keypad detected.
When this happens the problem is either keypad or control panel.
Problem is fixed testing keypad and control assembly and replacing the faulty part.
Here the procedure to test the parts:
Hold down the CLEAR/OFF button on pad.
Disconnect the ribbon cable connecting control panel to pad and wait about one or two minutes to see if the code comes back.
If the code comes back, then you likely need to replace control assembly.
If the code does not re-appear on display, then the problem is with the key pad. In that case replace the key pad.
The procedure is only indicative. In case of faulty control assembly
procedure may not be a definitive test. In that case replace the control
pad first.
