/where around Melbourne suburbs can I find a Ryobi repairshop

Unlikely you will find a dedicated Ryobi repair shop anywhere, though there are more general power tool repair shops scattered around wherever power tools are used.

If you can't find one I suggest you ask at a tool hire shop. They generally repair their own tools and will be well placed to advise you.

These days power tools are something of fashion and although spare parts are available for the better models, the fashion changes quickly and "older" models are quickly obsolete so don't get your hopes too high.

Another point is spare parts are often priced not to sell so often small repairs are often uneconomic - Ryobi, like many others are in the business of selling new saws and not spare parts...

Good luck!

my Ryobi scroll saw made a pop sound when I was using it. Now it won't go. How do I fix this?

pop as in electrical pop? if so it sounds like a brush problem at the commutator. If it is worth fixing cost wise electric power tools can usually have brushes repaired if you know how.

I,m based in the uk and am looking for a new motor for the Ryobi bench saw which is a 240Volt, ETS1825 model, so far I've had no success each advertiser on the net has plenty of spares for chainsaws, hedge trimmers etc. Can anybody help Pleeeease Regards, Ian

Ian, try the Croydon Powertool Centre/Lakedale: two branches of the same company based in south London. They keep an excellent stock of spares and when they don't have something can usually either obtain it or tell you where to do so. Contact numbers are 020 8683 0550 (Croydon) and 020 854 9894 (Lakedale, located in Plumstead).

It may also be worth checking with local tool hire centres as they often need to repair professional grade tools like yours and may be able to help.

Sorry I cannot provide you with a specific answer, but I hope that I have still been of assistance. Please take a moment to rate my reply.
