Heres how to unlock the volume control, Don't listen to music to loudly. It will destroy your hearing.
open my computer and then
Enable hidden folders. Go to "Tools", "Folder Options". Then click on the tab called "View", and under "Hidden Files and Folders", click "Show Hidden Files and Folders". I honestly do not know how to do this on a mac. I'm simply stupid.
Navigate to the hidden folder named "iPod_Control", and once there click on the folder "Device". Once there, delete the file named "_volumelocked".
Eject your iPod. Then, restart your iPod. You can do this by holding down the center and menu button for at least 6 seconds.
Once your iPod has rebooted, check and make sure that it worked. Simply go into "Settings", "Volume Limit". If it asks for a PIN, you did it WRONG. Retry the above procedure.
Here is a video incase you need help in makeing hidden folders visible.
Ekse - you are a genius. Your instructions were so clear that I managed
to do this first time! Now I am going to ask FixYa how to fix the
central locking in my VW Polo, This site is the best ever. Thanks
