if you didn't set the default administrator password, then you should
have been able to pass. However, if you remember that password, then please typed it in. Else you either need to download a third-party software that does the job, or you do the following instead.

Restart the PC, hold down F8 once you enter the Windows Boot Menu choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and now type in the following:
net user root /add

net localgroup Administrators root /add

net localgroup Users root /delete

The first command adds a new user called "root", the second command adds that user to the Administrators group and the third command removes the user from the Users group which leaves him in the Administrators group.

Once you've done, have a look at a Password Reset Disk Step-by-Step Guide.

brand new lexmark printer, toner and cartridges installed, but get error 32 unsupported black cartridge error -tried updating drivers on lexmark site -tried taking cartridge out and reinstaling it -problem occurs as soon as printer is warmed up - unable to print

You could find the root cause by performing different steps. One of the easiest methods is that you need to make sure that the plastic protective tape which is usually used on the new black cartridge is off. Usually the user makes this mistake. This mistake might occurs due to absent-mindedness. The reason could also be some distractions which happen while loading the new black ink cartridge.
