Go to the manufature web set and download the drivers your model of notebook, If that doest help write tech support of the manufature on thier web site and ask for help.

What type of computer do you have? A Desktop or a Laptop?

If you have a Laptop, please make sure that the webcam is enabled. Some Laptop have a feature to enable/disable the webcam (example: Lenovo [Press Fn+Esc to enable/disable the webcam]).

Try to reinstall the webcam driver using the drivers disc. If you don't have the drivers disc, you can download it from the computer / webcam manufacturer's web site (example: support.dell.com).

Try also to reinstall the cyberlink youcam software using the drivers disc or you can download it from the computer or webcam manufaturer 's website.

Having reviewed your prior post, if you can tell us what specific driver(s) you need, we can help to find replacements. HP web site materials can sometimes be obsolete or out of date. However, if you go to this page, select the exact model you have, and follow the links for drivers, there will also be a link (likely at the bottom of the page) to Contact HP.

This will enable you to have an online chat with HP regarding whatever drivers you are having a problem with, and they often have access to materials that are not posted on the web to assist you. Further, they have diagnostics available which can help to determine if there is action needed aside from updating of drivers.

It doesn't look like you can get Compaq supported drivers for your laptop but you may be able to write down the brand and model of each device from Compaq's support site: , then go to the individual manufacturer's web site and get an XP driver for that device. e.g. Nvidia most likely has a driver for the GeForce Go 7200 video card posted on their site. Just don't count on calling compaq tech support if you have any problems. If this laptop has a TV tuner in it, that will most likely be a sticking point.

The Broadcom network controller, Intel WLAN card, and the Intel Chipset drivers can most likely be found on the individual manufaturer's web sites.
