Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

LAPTOP ACCESSORIES - UNPLUGGING

Whenever your LAPTOP is not in use even for a short time as good as 15 mins

1. Remember to unplug any accessories - Not only do they use power but they could cause the laptop to overheat.

2. It's especially important to unplug any accessories before packing your laptop in its carrying case.

While you may believe it will make it quicker to use, it could damage your laptop, the accessory and/or your laptop bag.

So Take Care of your LAPTOP !

It looks like there is a shorting taking place whenever you insert the power jack into the laptop. Most likely the shorting is taking place on the laptop side and requires replacement, which should be done at the manufacturers service station even if its warranty has expired.

Laptop won't switch on

Your laptop went to sleep mode and could not wake up. Press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds. It will turn off and you should have no lights at all unless you have the AC connected.

Turn it on back again and it should be fine.

Check your power options under control panel and see the options for sleep or hibernate and disable it so that it wont happen again.

Hope this helps.
