optoma h79 wont power up is there a fuse to replace if so where is it thanks

All electronic equipments have fuse in the power supply section.
In your projector it is inside the unit. The fuse of projectors will blows only if there is any trouble in the power supply. Just try to replace the fuse in the power supply board. It will be near the input connector. If the fuse again blews then you have to replace the power supply board. Because the components in a projector power supply is rearly available. You will not be able to access the fuse with out oppening the projector.

no pwer to my D530 dlp projector

check the power cable first. also check is there is power on the wall out let to which the projector is connected. if all ok then the projectors smps power supply may be faulty. for testing the same u have to open the projector. fist check the input fuse. if fond faulty, do not insert a new one immediately. check is there is any component fault in the smps. only after insert the fuse.

My Toshiba TDP-S8 projector will not power up at all.

check the mains chord, also check the power in the wall socket to which the projector is connected. if all these ok then, may be its power supply side have some problem. its an smps power supply. just check its input fuse on the smps. if it fond faulty the do not replace it suddenly. check is there is any thing faulty on the smps board. because the fuse will blow off only if there is any problem in smps. check it first before inserting fuse.

my projector can't on

I assume you mean it has no power? This is fairly common with the NEC VT460,VT470,VT595. The power board/Power Supply has failed. I can usually repair or replace the power supply for $170
If you're familiar with electronics you can try checking the main power fuse by removing all the screws on the bottom of the projector & taking the cover off. The fuse is located just next to the ac plug. Test it using a continuity tester with long testing probes. If it's ok then the power board is bad & needs repair.
If it's bad replace with the same type fuse. You can bring the fuse to Radio Shack for identification or look on the power board next to the fuse holder for fuse amperage.

Thanks & good luck,

no power

if there are no leds lit, you may have a bad power supply. but first check the fuse on the power supply board near where the cord plugs in. replace as necessary. if the fuse is ok and you need a power supply board, try www.projectordoctor.com.
