Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Buying a new Desktop vs. Upgrading it!

Theres no problem of buying a new desktop PC but,
you can upgrade your old desktop by buying

1. Mother Board
2. Processor
3. Video Card if you are a gamer, or want to have a PC that works faster
4. LCD Monitor, it will save you from Electric Bills, and the Harmful radiation from CRT Monitor
5. A new Keyboard and Mouse,

maybe you think you must buy a new one, because theres a hassle by upgrading it, but you can save $50-100 for that.

wont to upgrade graphic card my p.c has 2gig max ram in it wonts should i upgrade to to preform its best cheers mike

Depends on what kind of hardware you have
-Memory- 2 gb ram is "ok" if you use windows XP but if you have Vista or Windows 7 you should have a minimum of 4gb ram.
-Processor- if you have a Dual core processor you are ok, if you have a p4 or p3 you dont want to waste money on a new graphics card because it will not help you get better games, your processor and memory will slow you down instead.
So my advice is, if you have a OK computer, go ahead with buying a new graphics card if you computer is old and slow, DONT buy a new card! put your money on +2gb ram instead (cheap, and gives you more benefits) or maybe buy an "upgrade package" with new motherboard-memory-processor.
