Parking break bypass

i have mine hooked to the ground wire to the unit ground. it works just fine.

I just did mine and I added a toggle switch to it to get it to work since it seems like the connection needs to be broken once each time it starts up and THEN it works fine. Get a switch, toggle or any kind, run a ground to one side of the switch and then on the output to the brake wire from the deck. I used this on an Alpine DVD/CD ipod unit (sorry I dont have model handy).

i have a 1985 chevy caprice classic, i installed this player and found easiest way to bypass the brake wire was to just simply ground on anything and it works perfectly fine driving or parked, not sure if possible for all models but worked for me

why bother with the switch just earth the parking wire to the black in the loom, much easier

a toggle switch is a simple switch with on and off fuction.

i need a wire harness lost old one for my vm9411 also need new remote. how do i get one?
