Tweak and Securing the Start Button in Windows XP.

Tweak: Disabling Right Click on Start Menu

Before you start to use the Tweak make sure you Create a System Restore Point or have Backup before applying this.

You can use this Tweak for Securing your Desktop .
This tweak will help you to hide the Options which appear when someone Right clicks on the start menu & try to explore.
To use this tweak follow the steps below:

  1. Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell & to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
  3. Now rename the key shell to shell.old
  4. Now reboot your PC.
If you want to show it again then rename it to shell again.

Please use this link - Canon Support Page - to download the required driver. This link will take you to the Download page for the Cannon Laser shot LBP 1210 driver.
  1. Please select the correct Operating System you use (Windows 7 etc). You haven't specified one here. Please do next time when you post a Question.
  2. Please select your Language.
  3. Please perform a "Customized" installation to stop installing unwanted components (for Advanced users only).

How to back up the System State

  6. Browse and provide a Backup Location. Has to be a separate Partition. Will need some space as well.
  7. Start the backing up. Will take 20-30 minutes depending on the Size of your System Related files and the Registry.
How to create a System Restore Point

  2. Type in this and hit enter.
  3. /restore/rstrui.exe
  4. Click on Create a Restore Point.
  5. Provide a Descriptive Name and Click on Create to create it.

This is an evaluation version. To get the best out of it you have to purchase license. They will send it as a Registry File. However you can use it without purchasing, even after it has expired. But you will not be able to get the best compression.

Hi!
Since you have not included the Operating System, I ll provide a link for you to download th Driver for these Operating Systems.
Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP (64 bit), Windows 2003, Windows Vista
This driver is obsolete however. Webcam seems an obsolete product as well. This Driver does not support Windows 7
Please scroll down to locate your Drivers.

restore point


Creating a restore point is quite easy ....Go to...

Start->all programs->accessories->system tools->system restore->

Now a window will pop up...choose the option create restore point and choose the date ....Now ur restore point is created
