Brother DCP-9045 CDN end of drum life override, how too? I have a Brother DCP-9045 CDN and it tells me the Drum Unit needs replacing. However it works fine and I am convinced there is more life in them. Does anybody knew how to override this? Thanks.

Hi,
Turn your printer off. Turn it back on again, go to menu -> Machine Info -> Reset Menu, choose Belt Unit, OK, then reset the counter pressing 1, then press stop/exit. Same for drum.
If however this won't work, go to the following page and look at the instructions. Do what it says, but just pull out the drum unit and put it back in, the same with belt unit, just pull it out and put back in.
Then do the reset procedure as described. Should fool the printer ;)
