i have an ipod touch that is locked, my computer wont let me restore it what do i do?

1. Press and hold the home button and the sleep/wake button. (the power off option will appear, ignore it)
2. When the apple logo appears let go of the sleep/wake button (keep holding the home button.)
3. After a few seconds you should see the connect to iTunes image (you can now let go of the home button.)
4. Open iTunes .
5. iTunes should automatically recognize your iPod, iPad, or iPhone once the image comes up, if not unplug your iPod, iPad, or iPhone and plug it back in.
6. Restore your iPod, iPad, or iPhone by clicking the "Restore" button.

How to work my ipad?


  • Turn on your iPod Touch or iPhone by pressing the top button. Wait for your iPod Touch to boot and slide your finger across the lock slider to unlock the device. You will now at the iPod Touch home screen

  • Press the Settings icon on the iPod Touch Home screen to change your system settings. Click on Wi-Fi near the top of the Settings menu. A list of available wireless access points will load.

  • Find your Linksys wireless access point from the wireless device list under the Wi-Fi menu. If you have already setup an security key for your Linksys router, you will be asked to enter the key after selecting it from the list. Press OK and wait as it connects to the router. Enjoy the added benefit of having your iPod connected to the Internet.

    When i plug my ipod touch into the computer this comes up..HELPP


    Try restoring it...here's how...
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
    3. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to iPhone. When you reconnect the USB to iPhone, the device should then power on.

      Note: If you see the message "Charging... Please Wait" , let the device charge for at least 10 minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.
    4. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
    5. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button andiTuneswill display the recovery mode message:

      If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.

    Try forcing an application to close
    To force an application to close, follow these steps:
    iPhone or iPod touch running iPhone OS 3.0 or later
    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. When the red slider appears, release the Sleep/Wake button.
    2. Instead of dragging the red slider, press and hold the Home button for six seconds.
    3. If the device does not return to the Home screen, see the steps below to restart.

    1. Press and hold the Home button for six seconds.
    2. If the device does not return to the Home screen, see the steps below to restart.

    If the iPhone or iPod touch remains unresponsive, try restarting the device:

    1. To turn it off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone.
    3. To turn iPhone or iPod touch on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

    If the iPhone or iPod touch remains unresponsive after trying the above steps or if it is in a different state, such as showing a persistent Apple logo on the display, try resetting the device:
    Resetting the iPhone or iPod touch
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds.

    my iphone camera just shows a black screen when i touch the camera app and wont allow me to take pictures what can i do

    Straight from Apple Iphone Manual
    Camera is not functioning
    1. Tap Camera, then point and shoot. Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation. If you do not see Camera on the any of the multiple Home screens, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions. If they are, set Allow Camera to ON or tap Disable Restrictions (in iPhone 2.1 software or later).
    2. If that doesn't work, clean the camera lens with the cleaning cloth that came in the box with iPhone.
