Tips: Don't enter your CREDIT CARD number yet.

You never ever enter your credit Card number in an http website!
But if the web address begins with https://, that basically means your computer is talking to the website in a secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.

What is the difference between http and https.
Maybe you already knew this, but I thought it was important enough to send even if you already know.

FIRST, MANY PEOPLE ARE UNAWARE OF

The main difference between http:// and https:// is. It's all about keeping you secure.

HTTP stands for Hypertext Transport Protocol.

Which is just a fancy way of saying it's a Protocol (a language, in a manner of speaking)
For information to be passed back and forth between web servers and clients.
The important thing is the letter S which makes the difference between http and https.

The S (big surprise) stands for "Secure".
If you visit a website or web page, and look at the address in the web browser,
it will likely begin with the following:

http://.

This means that the website is talking to your browser using the regular unsecured language.
In other words, it is possible for someone to “eavesdrop” on your computer's conversation with the website.

If you fill out a form on the website, someone might see the information you send to that site.

This is why you never ever enter your Credit Card number in an http website!
But if the web address begins with https:// that basically means your computer is talking to the website in a secure code that no one can eavesdrop on.

You understand why this is so important, right?

If a website ever asks you to enter your Credit Card information,
you should automatically look to see if the web address begins with https://.
If it doesn't, there's no way you're going to enter sensitive information like a credit card number.

Go to PayPal.com and click on sign up on the top of the page.
You'll need to choose your account type here.

You want to select Personal Account.
Click the "Start Now" button to begin.

Cancel a PayPal Payment
Sign in to PayPal.
Navigate to the "Profile" screen by clicking "Profile" button.
By default, your personal info will appear.
Click "My Money" to view your financial details.
Click the blue "Update" link next to "My Preapproved Payments."
A list will appear, with the merchants who you have agreed to automatically pay via your PayPal account.

All merchants you've ever agreed to reoccurring payments with will appear.
Click on the desired merchant.
Click the blue "Cancel" button next to "Status" at the top.
Click "Yes" when a confirmation box appears.
Once the payment is successfully canceled, you will see "Canceled on XX," where XX is the date.

The Apple iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and 3G allows you to browse the Internet using a Wi-Fi connection or a cellular connection.

You can purchase an iPad with an internal Verizon 3G network card.


Verizon has several pay-as-you-go plans to choose from in order to activate their service. Verizon has 1 GB, 3 GB, 5GB and 10GB data plans with no contracts that can be activated within the iPad 2 device.


Power on your iPad.


Slide your finger across the iPad to unlock the device. Enter your passcode if applicable.

Tap "Settings," "Cellular Data," "View Account."


Enter your "First Name," "Last Name" and "Telephone Number."


Enter your email address and password. This creates an account on the Verizon network where you can view your data usage and make changes if applicable.


Tap one of the following plans: "1 GB data per month for $20," "3 GB data per month for $35," "5 GB data per month for $50" and "10 GB data per Month for $80."


Tap the applicable credit card for payment and billing. Credit cards available are the following: "Visa," "MasterCard," "Discover" and "Amex."


Enter your "Credit Card," "Name," "Expiration Date," "Security Code" and "Billing Address." Tap "Next" to continue.


Review the Terms of Service and tap "Agree."

I get a message Unusual Login Activity - Please Review when try to log on to face book and it directed me to https://ssl.facebook.com/roadblock/ is it a true message from FB or a fack site?


That is a true message from facebook. When checking for any real website over a fake address, look for "https" in the beginning of the address. Make sure the "s" is connected with the "http". This ensures that you are entering a "secure" web address. Also make sure the name of the website is the same name of the company providing you a service.

how do i set up paypal account for buying off ebay


  • Start at www.paypal.com
  • click on Sign Up
  • select your country
  • choose Personal
  • enter all details required - make sure you choose a secure password, use something with a combination of letters and numbers, NOT a standard word. WRITE IT DOWN and put it away safely. Enter credit card details.
  • in future when buying from eBay, you will be taken there automatically from the purchase page, and will need to login using your email address and password.
