CARRIER PPA / PGA MODEL ERROR CODES

NO. OF LED BLINKS ERROR CONTENTS POSSIBLE DEFFECT 2 blinks Room Air Thermistor 1.Check for defective room air thermistor. 2. Defective control board. 3 blinks Indoor coil thermistor 1.Check for defective coil thermistor 2.Defective control board. 4 blinks Compressor drive malfunction 1.Check for trip off outdoor. 2. Check for defective compressor. 3. Check for trip “off” circuit breaker. 4.Check the outdoor fan motor operation. 5. Re-tight all terminals and terminal clips. 6. Check if charge of refrigerant is adequate. 7. Check if current reading is correct. 8. Check for defective thermistor 8 blinks Indoor blower motor RPM 1. Check the operation of indoor blower motor.
