Easy way to check if ur condensor coil is clean

While in operation, with condensor fan running, hold a piece of thick paper up to condensor coil, let go of paper, ir it stays stuck to the coil, the fan is pulling air thru, cooling the coil temp. this is good. if the paper dont stay in place ur condensor coil is dirty and needs to be cleaned

If you have a start relay , remove and shake - if you hear anything it is toast. with a cap either use a cap tester or just replace it and cross your fingers.

You will need to take the machine appart. There are usually access pannels for all areas that paper go through for this exact reason.

The first step would be to clean the condensor coils to remove the dirt accumulation which decreases their efficiency. Also, check to make sure the condensor fan is operating properly. This pulls room air over the condensor coils and cools the refrigerant.
