Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Worried about loosing all important documents and all programs you installed in your computer after getting a virus which you cannot removed no matter how hard you tried. Or by getting a windows error that you cannot determine the cause of the failure of your computer. System Restore can resolved these issues. System restore can put your computer from the the time you remember the your unit is working under good condition. here are the steps in doing this:

Boot your computer on safe mode
Power On the computer and keep on tapping F8 key the moment you press the power button
Select Safe Mode if you are prompted with selections
Once you are inside Windows safe mode, click start menu
Click all programs
Click Accessories
Click System tools
Click system restore
Select the date that you remember that the computer is not experiencing this issues then restore the computer back to that date.
Once the computer has restarted you should not be experiencing problem/issues that you are encountering.

Best of luck!

-- cleaning system junk
Speed up your computer by:

-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.

Also update your antivirus program. Thanks

If you are worried about viruses affecting your computer, I suggest you install an anti-virus program on your computer. There are commercial anti-virus programs such as Nortons and McAfee.
There are also freeware anti-virus programs on the Internet, AVG is a good program. Generally commercial programs offer better protection.
AVG also offers a commercial version of their freeware anti-virus program.
Please click on this link to download freeware AVG should you wish to use this program :-

my computer is infected and I'm not on internet

save media and documents (important and not available in other place) from C drive to the other partition...or into a disk ..and reinstall the operation system from scratch ....This is the only way to be sure that you get rid of all infections ...for good....(format the C partition during the operation )
All other methods are just a delay or ..a partial solve of this problem ...cause there is no anti-virus that will delete a virus that already passed by it ...even if it sees it ..and so try to heal..remove or quarantine it ...this bugs once that got into the computer they appear in more than one place and attack the system files systematically ..and it will glue it down step by step ..until there will be nothing to do ...and if you have important family pictures...documents and such ...its better to start making a saving operation now...when it still moves..cause in a few days will be almost impossible...do not worry ..usually viruses do not attach to media or documents ..just programs and things that will allow to activate themselves into crucial points like system 32 or program files..so ...save all that you can ....on a removable device ..or in another partition on the hdd....scan them to be sure they are ok ...and reinstall windows..
