After updating software, phone not recognized

I had MPT 2.2 and then 3.11. After loading 3.11 and manually selecting my phone and settin up aprofile name, software updated itself and I could no longer access my phone from my PC or Laptop.

I re-intalled 3.11 and the software merged with the update listing all the updated phones, kept my user name, logged in and re-selected my phone(from GSM phone line).

Now no problem.
