Tip & How-To about Apple iPhone Smartphone
This is a common problem these days people turn thier iPhones off and when they power them on they jsut get the apple logo for a while then it shuts off, or it will just be a blank screen, or it will pop up with an iTunes symbol and a USB cord. To fix all of these you just need to restore the Apple device. Plug it into the computer that you last synced it with. Then access iTunes on the computer, after a few moments it should detect the iPhone. It may say that it is in recovery mode or it may just pull it up like normal. Either way you just need to click the button that says restore, once you do this your computer will download a file about 200 MB to iTunes and then after it downloads it will ask you to confirm the restore, just click agree and next through all of this. Then your iPhone will start showing different screens. This is normal. Just wait and after about 20 minutes it will say "restore successful" if you get an error message in the 1600's just search youtube for a solution, there are tons of different remedies to fix these. Then it will ask you to restore from back-up. Just click the most recent time you synced it. This will put it back to the way it was last time you synced. There you go, you shoudl be fine. This will usually happen to Jailbroken devices. MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF YOUR DATA IS BACKED UP BEFORE RESTORING! IT WILL ERASE ALL UNSYNCED DATA! This will also un-jailbreak your device if you had it previously jailbroken. Also T-Mobile/ Vodaphone users will need to re-unlock the firmware. If you dont know how to do this search craigslist in your area, people will charge you anywhere from $10-$25 to do this for you and it will only take about a half hour.
