One fix to return DVD player to origional setings, is to go in to the menu and find the factory reset option the will return the setings back to fresh from the factory.

i have a problem in may dvd. doesnt play any movies. " region code error" what shall i do?

Hello to all at fixya & Tech Guy !
I have a Daewoo DVG9200N, and a Philips 726/17.
Both do not play the DVD-R ( Minus-R ) format well. They both have that " skipping " thing every minute or so.
Is there a fix code for either or both machines ?

The region free thing works, but this is not helping the -R play problem.
