Replacing a Built-in Microwave Oven
Locate the cabinet above the built-in microwave oven. Find two screwed-in bolts. Unscrew the bolts while someone holds the microwave steady.
Unplug the electrical cord from the cabinet above and snake the wire down the hole towards the microwave oven. Continue having someone hold the microwave steady.
Roll microwave to left or right to set it free from the mounting bracket in the back. The microwave oven should now be unlocked from its position and can be removed completely from the area.
Install the mounting bracket on the new microwave that was included in the package.
Snake the electrical cord of the new microwave through the hole in the above cabinet. Plug in the electrical cord.
Lift the microwave and rest it to line up with the existing mounting plate on the wall. Roll it until the microwave is locked in place.
Use a screwdriver or electric drill to screw in bolts above cabinet into the microwave mounting bracket. This will keep the microwave securely and tightly in place. Your new microwave is ready to use.
