Tip & How-To about Refrigerators
There is just 1 little thing standing in between you and your water/ice. It's about the size of a deck of cards and leaves you
thirsty. It's the Water Inlet Valve. This little jewel controls the water
getting into the Refrigerator. When you push the lever it opens to
dispense water. When it goes out you get nothing or maybe a trickle. It also has a valve that controls water to your ice maker so maybe you have water but no ice. Either way you are not happy.
Good News!!! It is an EZ FIX... You can replace this part easily and
probably in less time than you think. Step 1 Find the Make and Model of your Frige and get the Right Part. Step 2 Locate the Water Inlet Valve on your Refigerator. Follow the water supply line to the back of the frige. It is attached to the Inlet Valve. Step 3 Match the new part to the old part. They should look the same and have the same connections. Step 4 Unplug and Shut Off Water to the Refrigerator. Step 5 Mark the wires location on the old part or transfer them 1 at a time to the new part. Step 6 Remove and replace the water lines and mounting screws. Step 7 Turn on water and check for leaks. Step 8 Plug in your Frige and Enjoy. EZ FIX...
