Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Hello, I am finding more and more System issues, are related to The Consumer being unaware of the Importance Of Downloading and Updating Drivers and Software from Your System's Manufacturer's Support Website. This should be done periodically. I recommend checking the website every 3 months for any Updates related to your Systems Model. You should check anytime you do any Upgrades or Changes to Your System as well. This will ensure that your system will continue to run as efficiently as possible at all times. Sincerely, Lucky4lynn2

my PC has no audio output

Monitor to see when the audio output is cut off. It may be interference with a program causing it to fail. Check audio drivers to see if they're operating properly. Would recommend rolling back drivers in an attempt to fix a driver issue quickly. Otherwise check manufacturer website for any updates to your audio drivers that may fix the issue.

I am guessing you need the drivers/software.

You can try downloading it from this link to Canon's website:

Make sure to choose the appropriate Operating System.

I hope this helps.

Good luck!!

my laptop has lines on the screen when turned on

It is required to check whether it is a Hardware issue or issue related with any Software. For this, loginto BIOS by continuously tapping the F2 key on the startup, if you can view vertical lines in the BIOS, it will be a Hardware issue related to the LCD monitor, and it is required to service the Computer in any service center. If the vertical lines disappear in the BIOS mode, the issue is with any of the Softwares or drivers installed in the Computer.

Resolution steps:
1. Check whether the installed video driver is compatible with the Computer. you can download Original shipped Video driver from the link below.

Original NVIDIA Display Drivers. Updated NVIDIA Display Driver

2. You can also try updating the BIOS version by downloading and installing the BIOS updater.

Please try the steps in the same order as it is provided. All the best.

My HP Pavilion 9000t cannot seem to detect my Canon ZR830 camcorder. Even though the Canon shows "DV IN" when I connect the firewire, after using system restor to roll back prior to Windows update, and after updating the IEEE driver in device manager, the computer can't find it. Annoyingly enough, I was previously able to "see" this camcorder on my computer. No help on the Canon site, and no help on the HP site either.

First, be sure to uninstall any old drivers that you have on your computer that relate to this camera.

After any remains of that camera are off of your computer entirely, go to the webpage below to download and install the most up to date drivers.

On that page, select your operating system, and download the drivers. Save them to a location that you can find, and then install them and restart your computer.

Try to connect your camera and use it as you normally did, and I believe this should fix your problem. Let me know what happens.
