how can I disable the abs chime on a 2007 sedona

Basically fix the ABS. The chime comes threw the radio. I guess you could put in an after market radio. That would do it also. You can't cut the communication wire to it, then the factory radio wouldn't work

how to do car audio wiring

You can look your radio wiring up on the new radio from the manufacturer's website if you can not find it in the owners manual. In order to know which wires go to what in your car, you can look them up online using a basic search engine. Type in basic car info, dodge intrepid 2001 radio wiring diagram, or reply with this info and we can help. Most basic after market radios are wired as such, black ground, red to switched power and yellow to 12V+ constant. Again, always check owners manual for new radios.

my car radio is not switching on.the name of my car radio is a sony xr ca440x

For the most part, all car stereos, including the Sony XPLOD car stereo will have the same basic wiring with the exception of some additions for connecting to after market amplifiers. They all have a wire for the memory which is continuous power and one for main switchable power. There will be one main ground and a speaker ground. The rest of the wires are for the speakers. These are usually paired as the same color except the wire with the black stripe is the speaker ground. The easiest way to hook up a new radio is to get a pigtail harness for the Sony XPLOD from any store that sells radios. This is a direct hook up simplifying installation. The pigtail has the proper connection to simply plug in to the original connector and the other end to the new radio.

vy2 commodore radio dead no idea where fuse located

The car that it's in needs to be told as to the cars fuses basicly all of the cars fuses need to be checked as you don't know which circuits the installer connected the radio to. if in doubt. pull the radio with the wires still connected and make sure it's not disconnected someway. Most all after market radios need a ground wire connected to the frame of the radio to a good car ground as it may have made a haphasard connection that has now opened. Radios just die too and some are better than others water heat cold all mess with radios and the ones that came with the cars cost way more than the aftermarkey ones and they stay better and they fail too.
