How to Replace the Bulb in a Projection TV

Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • Rubber gloves
  • Replacement bulb
  1. Step 1 Turn off the TV, and unplug it. Make sure to disconnect it from the outlet completely.
  2. Step 2 Locate the bulb door of the TV. This is often on the back, near the power cord. Slide the door open and reveal the bulb.
  3. Step 3 Unscrew the screws. Some screws are thumbscrews, while others may require a screwdriver.
  4. Step 4 Gently remove the bulb. Pull the bulb out of the compartment, usually by grasping a handle and then pulling out and slightly down.
  5. Step 5 Install the new bulb. Line up the groove on top of the new bulb's housing with the groove pocket on the inside of the television. Slide the new one into place.
  6. Step 6 Tighten the screws. Do not over tighten them; they should be finger-tight only.
  7. Step 7 Close the door. Make sure it is closed completely or the TV will not operate.

replacement of cord for a 3.5 amp 1/2 in. Crafstman drill

that's surprising, as sears usually can solve those issues....anyways....you can just get num14 grounded wire, to length you need and that will cover the amps you're using for that drill and a bit more.you'll have to re-use the rubber grommets, or improvise one from something else....like perhaps a roll of soft rubber wrap made into a grommet!!!

I have a homelite grass trimmer. Two short rubber hoses enter/depart from the plastic gas tank. One of the hoses is cracked, creating a fuel leak. The other is probably close to being the same. Where can I find replacement hoses and is it a project I can do myself. If not, can you suggest a homelite repair facility close to Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Thank you. Roger

Rubber hoses should be available from AutoZone or NAPA or any other reputable vehicle parts dealer, or online. Check the size of the hoses before you shop, to make sure you're getting the right diameter. Replacement would probably require draining the fuel from the tank and depending on the exact layout, you might have to take out a couple of bolts to find both ends of the hoses. Make sure the hose clamps or fixtures on both ends are tight and not in need of replacement as well. Unless it's a complicated internal layout, I see no reason replacement would require a shop!

Tools you'll need: Sharp scissors or knife to cut rubber to length, rubber hoses, gloves, wrench or screwdriver?

its behind the glove box on all tucson's .what you have to do it this .empty your glove box .the on the left hand side there will be a string with a little bar on the end {this hold the glove box in and gives it the damped feel } when you remove it by turning it through the hole /slot it will shoot back fast ..dont worry you can still retrieve it after you have changed the filters .also note that on either side there is a rubber slider thing that you will have to disconnect {these hold the glove box in you need to push them in and they release the glove box..by now the glove box will be held on only by the lower hinges and it will have lost the damped feel ..dont worry this is how it should be ! next get a torch and you will see a small black bar with a small bit of white paint on it near the it may be yellow paint ..this bar is located where the back of the glove box was ..now on the bar there is a small plastic projectile .squeeze it and the bar will open .you will then see TWO black trays as the tucson has two filters pull out the first one then slide the second one out ..now VERY important DONT throw away the trays as you will need them to put the replacement elements in they are about 10 inches long and 4 inch wide they cost about 11 pounds from hyundai and about 9 from other dealers {i would stick with the genuine ones if i were you .when you have bought your replacement filters simply open them up and replace the dirty ones the fitting is the opposite of removing {they will only go in one way .the instructions are in the back of the owners manual by the way ..to refit the glove box .get hold of the damper unit {thats the string with the plastic bar on it and thread it through the hole on the left hand side also reconnect the two plastic /rubber units on either side of the glove box they snap back in place and are a bit fiddly but persevere and you will win ..i have made it sound harder than it is {not on purpose} its just hard trying to give step by step instructions .good luck should take you no longer than half an hour
