Tip & How-To about Cell Phones
The recently released BlackBerry OS update version 18.104.22.1684 has introduced a number of imprvements, but has also been reported to "strip" keyboard lock funtionality and break the ever-popular BEIKS Keyboard Lock application.
As it turns out, the functionality is not removed, but slightly modified: you now need to have a password set in the BlackBerry in order for the lock fumctionality to kick-in.
The password is set through the global Settings (or Options, depending on which BlackBerry you use) application, then in Keyboard.
I in particular find this new requirement rather confusing and even dubious. I hope they remove it in the next update.
