I lost my CD for Logitech webcam, joystick, game pad, remote, etc

Hello and welcome to fixya.

If you have lost your CD for your Logitech keyboard, mouse, joystick, game pad, remote or anything else that they make.

Noting to worry about, Logitech has all the required software available for you to download free on their support website.

Just visit their website HERE

Step 1. Find your product
Step 2. Select Downloads or support from the products page (when you find your specific product)

Step 3. Select your Operating system from the Choose OS list.
Step 4. select your computer operating system type, either 32bit or 64bit. 32bit is the most common type, try 32bit first if this doesn't install or work, then try the 64bit.
Step 5. click on download software. after the download is complete run the setup and follow instructions.

You may have to sometimes restart the computer for the product to work properly.

i cant get the other buttons on my logitech mx1100 to work on combat arms

If it's all games then you probably need to install some drivers, they will be available from the Logitech website.

Different games are designed(sometimes not very well) with different hardware in mind, as such some games won't allow you to use certain buttons etc. If there are no bindings for the buttons in your games settings then you would need a piece of software to translate the button presses to keyboard commands..unfortunately I don't think one exists for mouse to keyboard. There are a couple that convert joystick/pad input to keyboard commands, you could see one of them would suit your needs.

Here's a link to joy to key's website, I can't remember any others but I know there's at least one more out there.

I hope you find a solution to your problem, especially since I've suffered the same thing in the past.

how can I use joy stick as a mouse? I already have the driver for the joystick but can not chose it in the mouse/pointer properties

Yes you can. All you need is a software. There are many available like Xpadder, Joy2key, Pinnacle game profiler (you have to buy it), and for logitech joysticks, theres the logitech game profiler.
I have a Logitech Rumblepad 2 so I am familiar with Logitech game profiler and I help people by making profiles for their games.

To use a joystick as mouse in Windows, I have read that Xpadder and Pinnacle work. Other profilers dont work. Pinnacle costs money so you can try Xpadder. I dont know anything about that but you can read on the net how to set that up.

browse for some controller to mouse/keyboard software, you should be able to find tons on google, i use joy to key, just set up the buttons to keys you want to use, or set up the buttons randomly and redefine the keys in the game, also if you use a mouse in game you can set up buttons or joysticks to use the mouse on joy to keys
:) hope this helps
