My keyboard on my acer aspire 5336-2524 got wet on few keys i wiped it off shutt it down tipped upside down cleaned with alcohol wipes turned it back on and now none of it works its like keyboard was shutt off..

Well it depends on what the liquid was and how much went in. If the liquid was a fizzy drink like coke then the sugar works as an acid and dissolves the carbon tracking within the layers on the board and renders it useless. However some keys will work and others not. In your case nothing works and that sounds like the motherboard has got wet and if that is the case then it will be useless. The only way you could use the laptop if everything else works would be to buy a usb keyboard and use that. not very portable though!!!

will not power on, spilled a tablespoon of water on keyboard

liquid spilled on laptop is bad news, even thou it might be just a tablespoon, on the right spot might render your laptop useless, its recommended that you Do Not turn on the laptop, remove batt, allow it to dry for a week, if the laptop does not turn on then its possible that internal components might be affected/damaged. if the system is still in warranty and covers accidental water damage, call your manufacturer, if not, bring it to your local computer shop for repair...

Hope it helps!

Spilled small amount of liquid on it now it does not work. Looking for possible solution, ie motherboard.

remove the battery open up the notebook then spray rubbing alcohol all over the computer keyboard and, especially where you spilled liquid; really soak it; wait 24 hours for it to dry; and, try to turn it on with the power supply connected
