How to backup all your Facebook contacts

This method allows you to backup the Name, contact details and Email of all your Facebook friends in a CSV file so that you do not lose them in case of account deletion or otherwise.
Go to address.yahoo.com and click the Facebook icon. A login dialog should pop-up, just sign-in with your Facebook credentials and within seconds, you entire Facebook address book will be available inside your Yahoo Mail Account. Once the import is done, go to http://address.yahoo.com/?_src=&VPC=tools_export to download a CSV file with the email addresses of all your Facebook contacts to your desktop.



You can then import the CSV file into Gmail Contacts, LinkedIn, your phone address book or any of the social sites where you want to connect with your existing Facebook circle.

NOTE: If Yahoo! is unable to import your Facebook Address book, open your Facebook page and choose “Application Settings” under Account. Next remove the “Yahoo! Contact Importer” application from your Facebook profile and try the steps mentioned in the video again. Also, if Yahoo is added as one of your linked accounts in Facebook, this method would not work.

There are quite a few other methods that do almost the same work. But none of them will get you a list of all email addresses. The reason is that Facebook doesn't let applications have access to your email address (Unless explicitly authorized by the user). However, this method would allow you to backup it all, Name, phone nos., emails, etc. into an easily manageable CSV file which you later use to invite friends in other websites.
