Tip & How-To about Cell Phones
This is Jon from the Cell Phone Guy in Sioux Falls SD. We buy sell trade and repair used phones. A General problem i would note to help people out is a user lock on LG phones. A user lock is a passcode that keeps anyone out of the phone that doesnt know it. Its a common problem we see since we buy peoples old phones. Simple fix most of the time though is going into the hidden programing menu of the phone. Simply power the phone on and when its saying its locked just enter "##program(the model number)" so say for the LG Venus you would enter ##program8800 and hit send. This takes you to a programing menu of the phone. You will go into the service program option and enter through it try not to ever change the information in the area for its the settings of the phone that allows it to be activated. But you will enter through till you see a phone number. A user locks default password is usually the last four digits of the previous number wich youll see here. keep entering through the screens and the phone will automatically reset and bring you back to the home screen and now enter the last four digits of that phone number you just looked up and hopefully unless it had been changed by the previouse user this will unlock the phone and let you reset the device.
