Hard disk problem

Thanks for your support but i have another problem, my computer does not show hard drive i try to put when i try to install window message come "no hard disk in your system"please help me for that its is Pentium three desktop

Windows XP Blue Screen


change your ide cable or sata.
Reset your bios settings pull cmos cell from motherbord for minute so all settings are defaults.
Also boot your computer with winxp disk then if you able to enter in setup then go to recovery console mode and run "chkdsk /r' command .
Also check your harddisk is master set jumper in master position .

You might have to go to the BIOS of your computer to ensure your drive is recognised. Once it shows there, make sure you change the Drive as your first boot device.

hard disk not recognized when reinstalling xp


try formating the drive using fdisk in fat32, you can find this program in windows 98/98se and Me them try instaling windows xp
