Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

How to clear my recent documents history?

Hi !
Well 'PRIVACY' is something very important for many of us. After using your laptop or PC, you don't want others to view what you have done etc as it may contain confidential materials.
This will depend on your Operating System e.g Windows XP, Vista or 7.
How to:
Right-click 'start' or 'windows' icon on the lower left of your desktop. Go to properties, start menu/ uncheck list my recent files etc...Apply changes!
For Xp you need to click 'advanced'

how to make folders private in FAT32 file system..

If i was you i would turn that folder into a zip file
that way you can add a password to it,, and i often use this method, as windows xp allows you to use comressed files dynamically , (opening the documents in them, viewing it, copying, pasting editing etc..
