This error message appears on the printer screen when the printer thinks the wrong toner cartridge is installed. To clear it or identify a service requirement, follow the steps below. NOTE: If you succeed in resolving the problem at any stage during the procedure, you not need to perform the remaining steps.
  1. Open the top front cover of the printer. If the display DOES NOT read Close cover or Insert cartridge, the 32 error is not caused by the toner cartridge and printer service will be required to fix the problem.

  2. Make sure the correct toner cartridge is installed for this printer model.
    1. Check Lexmark for a list of compatible cartridges for your printer.
    2. If the wrong toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install the correct one.
  3. If the correct toner cartridge is installed, it may not be seated correctly. To ensure that this is not the cause of the error, do the following:
    1. Turn off the printer.
    2. Reseat the toner cartridge.
    3. Close the lid.
    4. Power the printer back on and check the display.
  4. If reseating the toner cartridge does not clear the error message and the error started as soon as you installed this particular toner cartridge, the cartridge may be broken. You can check this as follows:
    1. Power off the printer and then reinstall the old cartridge. (You can also try a different new cartridge to see if that clears the error.)
    2. If the error does disappear, the problem may lie with this cartridge. Please contact the point of purchase, especially if the cartridge is brand new out of the box.
  5. If the error cannot be cleared by putting in a new toner cartridge or one that is known to be working, the printer may require service to fix the problem.

have a 85 errors

When you try to connect a drive that was previously connected to a Distributed File System (DFS) resource, you may receive the following error message: System error 85 has occurred. The local device name is already in use. This error message persists for the particular drive letter in that particular Terminal Services session. The same drive letter for other Terminal Services sessions may work as expected. A different drive letter that is not typically used also works as expected. The only way to correct the issue is to restart the Terminal Services-based system.
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: 260910 How to obtain the latest Windows 2000 service pack (if you are using windows 2000)

not able to complete windows xp setup

First let's try to "flash" the BIOS to correct the erroneous data crashes. Here's the link for the motherboard:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=P4VM8

After flashing go back to the BIOS and setup the appropriate settings, after that reboot and try to load Windows. If this fails then possibly you may have faulty memory modules or they are not seated correctly in the motherboard, try swapping them, hopefully they are the same. I hope this helps.

Answer :
To resolve this error condition, reinstall the ink cartridge:
  1. Remove the color ink cartridge:
    1. Open the printer access door by lifting from the front center of the unit.
    2. Wait until the printhead is idle and silent, then pinch the latch on the color ink cartridge with your thumb and forefinger and lift it out of the printhead.
  2. Check the two electrical contacts on the ink cartridge for small marks, which should appear if the cartridge was installed correctly.

If the electrical contacts do not have small marks:
    1. Reinstall the ink cartridge, making sure you press down on it until it clicks into position.
    2. Remove the color ink cartridge, then check the two electrical contacts on the ink cartridge again for small marks. Repeat if necessary.
    3. Reinstall the ink cartridge.
  3. Close the printer access door.

NOTE: See the User's Guide for more information about removing and installing the ink cartridge.
